We need reference ranges to be able to interpret the results. Ranges vary from lab to lab. Please add the ranges. If you don't have them then ask the receptionist at the surgery for a print out of the results, the ranges will be on there (don't accept verbal or hand written results as mistakes can be made). I don't know if you have online access to results, if so then you should also find them there.
As long as the ranges were the same for both sets of tests then TSH is heading in the right direction, it needs to be low in range. As TSH lowers then FT4 should increase but it's early days and she'll need an increase in her dose of Levo and it may take several increases to reach her optimal dose.
So TSH has reduced but probably has a long way to go. I don't know what the aim is for young children as we are used to seeing results from adults on the forum and then the aim for TSH would be 1 or below with FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of their ranges if that is where the member feels well.
FT4 is only 24.14% through range whereas it was 26.72% before. The change is minimal. Her dose of 25mcg has started to shut down her own production of T4 but is not enough to replace that and then provide the extra T4 she needs due to being hypothyroid.
FT3 is 40.62% through range.
It would seem that she needs an increase in her dose of Levo to reduce her TSH and bring her FT4 up further into range. Has the doctor not suggested this? She also needs retesting 6-8 weeks after the increase in dose, and maybe further increases after that to reach her optimal dose.
