Slight change or not?

What DO you think about switching to 75+25(maybe 30) to try to reduce how swollen I am.

Am currently taking 100 t4+ 20 t3

Tsh <0.01

Ft3 5.9 (3.6-6.3)

Ft4 20(12-22)

You need to know your own body and trust your intuition.

For me that change would be a disaster as my FT4 would then be too low and my Ft3 too high.

I did and it helped me, but we are all so different! I followed carefully the advice of the forum to make changes low and slow and manage my supplements carefully.

I am a terrible person and I avoid getting tested, my general doctor just writes the prescriptions and I take the pills. After a horrible episode where an endocrinologist tried to get me off T3 and I became incredibly sick, I decided to trust my body and not the docs

No, not terrible at all. I know all about drs not helping but wanting to reduce T3 or stopping it completely. So Didi you swap some T4 for more T3 and what effects did you get? I soo want it to work for me.

I did - I reduced the T4 pretty fast because it was making me so sick and puffy. But increased the T3 slowly. I don't remember how the effects went, I'm afraid - being on too little T3 makes me so out of it things were like a blur.

How much T3 and T4 are you taking now? How much did you take before reduction? Sorry for lots of questions.

I was on 150 T4 and down to 10 T3, and incredibly sick and weak with terrible brain fog. Now I take 75T4 and 35T3, feel ok, good if I get enough sleep. I have to break the t3 tablets into small pieces, yes!
