Hi all

I’m in turkey at the moment and I currently take 75mg of levothyroxine

I am purchasing Tiromel for pennies per box and I’m going to seek advice when I get back to the Uk to see if my fatigue and sluggishness improves on the t3.

Here in turkey I’m shocked to see how little medication costs and proves that pharmaceutical companies are costing billions in the Uk and the government allow it ..... its a total disgrace and why is this allowed to happen ?

I will let you all know how I am in 3 months time

Hi - 3 years ago and 2 years ago shaws and SeasideSusie asked you about your results for B12 - Folate - Ferritin and VitD. If these are low in range then it appears nothing works well with regards to Thyroid hormones - the ones you take and the ones you produce.

Maybe read your earlier posts by clicking onto your username DBrum and having a read.

I am not anti T3 - I take it myself. 🌻

I’m asking now and in the Uk these tests are unavailable unless I pay private they are basic tests here and hey I don’t live in here sorry 😐

I wouldn’t understand any levels as the Uk keep it under wraps and give basic information ..... so here I am 2 or 3 year’s later asking again 😉

You are legally entitled to have copies of all your test results. You should be able to access your results on-line ...

Many people here can help you understand your results if you post them. Your current dose of T4 is still quite low ...

If you don’t know your latest blood test results, and would not be able to interpret even if you did I wonder why you are thinking of making yourself unwell buying a tablet which you very possdo not need. I see from your other posts you are loathe to respond when members try to help you.

I suggest you think again about getting help from members. Have the blood tests, post results and then you will be able to make a more informed decision.

I suspect however you are going to decide for yourself what you need, it was obvious that you are tellling us how foolish you are rather than taking a sensible and educated approach. I can only hope you have a blue sky moment and decide to become better educated about hypothyroidism, how it affects you and the best way to treat it for you.
