Hi, it’s been 6 months since my last test and things have improved in a lot of areas. I’ve eliminated Gluten, Dairy and Soy and I’ve been taking daily supplements. I have still been left with some hypo symptoms, the worst for me is low energy & motivation with on/off brain fog. I spoke to my doctor this morning and was given the biggest fob off to date. He recommended that I exercised to increase my energy, I told him that I tried to exercise but it left me unable to do much else. He told me that it would improve with time. He also suggested that I might have depression, which I don’t believe.
I was wondering whether there was anything anyone could see in my results that might be affecting these things. I can live with all the other stuff but hate not being active. TIA

With your raised antibodies you need your TSH to go over range as well and an enlightened doctor should start you n Levo. Did you do your test early morning before anything to eat or drink but water? This would give the highest possible TSH.
As for your nutrient levels:
Ferritin needs to be half way through range (82 with that range) so still a way to go.
Symptoms of low ferritin include:
◾Weakness
◾Fatigue
◾Difficulty concentrating
◾Poor work productivity
◾Cold hands and feet
◾Poor short-term memory
◾Difficulty remembering names
◾Dizziness
◾Pounding in the ears
◾Shortness of breath
◾Brittle nails
◾Headaches
◾Restless legs
As your ferritin was 19.9 last time, did your GP test for iron deficiency anaemia (iron panel and full blood count)?
What have you been taking to raise your ferritin level?
**
Active B12 is coming on, I'd want mine over 100.
Are you taking a B Complex?
**
Vit D is much improved.
Did your GP give loading doses?
What dose of D3 are you taking now?
Are you also taking D3's important cofactors - magnesium and Vit K2-MK7?
Thank you @SeasideSusie. No, no diagnosis, as you say, my TSH is in range so my doctor won’t medicate me. I did the test early in the morning before I ate or drank anything.
As for folate, they seem to have stopped testing that 🤷🏻♀️
My doctor was a bit hopeless with the Vit D, he prescribed me 800IU capsules which thankfully I knew wasn’t enough because of this forum, so I bought some and was taking 4000IU until July and now I’m taking the Betteryou spray with K2 also.
I’m also taking 1000ug B12
400mg Magnesium
1000ug folate
17mg Iron- I have heavy periods so I’m not sure if this is enough, but I don’t seem to be able to get a higher dose.
My FBC was done back in January, my GP didn’t seem to concerned with anything on there. It certainly would make sense that my ferritin could be affecting me. I have quite a few on the list. I don’t think I’ll be able to get iron from my GP as it’s in range. Is there another way to get a higher dose?

They haven't stopped it but they no longer do it with the ULTRAVIT test. You'd now have to order the ULTRAVIT WITH FOLATE test but that has to be a venous blood draw, they don't do it as a fingerprick test. Blue Horizon has a full thyroid/vitamin bundle which includes everything you need (including folate) and can be done by fingerprick, it's their Thyroid PREMIUM GOLD test, and there is a generous discount code here:

Your GP was negligent, he should have consulted the Clinical Knowledge Summary for Vit D deficiency. A result of 19.2nmol/L leaves absolutely no doubt that is quite serious Vit D deficiency. However, it's rising albeit slowly. If I were you I'd continue with the 4,000iu and retest in 3 months.
I’m also taking 1000ug B12
1000ug folate
I'm doubtful that you need these separately, especially folate at that dose. 400mcg methylfolate is usually enough to raise a level that doesn't come under Folate Deficiency, and a good B Complex should contain enough B12 as methylcobalamin to raise your level. A B Complex also contains all the B vitamins and keeps them in balance. Have a look at Thorne Basic B or Igennus Super B.

From what you've said I wouldn't trust your doctor with anything. If he can't even be bothered to treat Vit D deficiency properly how can you trust him to with any results? Always get a print out of your NHS results from any test, keep a record, ask on here if you're unsure.

Iron is complicated so I don't get involved in suggesting iron tablets. However, you can help raise your ferritin level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, also liver pate, black pudding, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet
That’s great, thank you again. I’ll hunt out the supplements you suggested and do a blood test with Blue Horizon next time. I’ll have a go with the liver, my mum used to make me eat it as a child so I’ve always been against it but I’ll give anything a go at this point 😀
There are lots of way to eat liver, have a Google!
If you really can't eat it as an individual meal then you can add it to curry, chilli, shepherd's pie, any sort of meat dish like that.
I cut mine into thin strips and do a sort of stir fry. I fry onions, mushrooms, different colour peppers, anything else I fancy, add liver for the last 5 minutes, then stir in some cooked rice and cooked peas, or any version you fancy
