Follicular thyroid cancer

I was diagnosed with a benign goitre back in 2015. After noticing they had grown I’ve had further investigations and then a partial thyroidectomy. I have been told I have follicular cancer and now need to have the rest removed and potentially nuclear iodine. My tumour was encapsulated in thyroid but 2.8 com. My concern is fear of recurrence and just wanted some advice from anyone in similar situation as to what has been helpful in terms of research, treatment and follow up. I am a 50 year old female with previous lymphoma and this may be as a result of radiotherapy to my neck 30 years ago.
