Hello

I am getting this a lot, know it can be thyroid related - does anyone know if it's the T3 levels causing it or T4

Thanks

When people post about the feeling of burning, especially of feet, I quite often post this link.

It is getting on a bit but nonetheless it does give an overview of the causes of burning feet. And I have not seen a more recent article which I could use instead.

Definitely it was low T3 that caused mine. It happened every evening and when I was in bed but in the morning had gone. Then it returned again in the evening. This pattern all stopped when I started T3, having had a blood test that showed my T3 was under range.

It may take a few weeks to improve, once you start T3, or are you already taking it?

I tried T3 only for about eight months but in the end went back to T4/3 combo. Good luck with it. I assume you have Paul’s book, which was why I tried it. It was a great help to me at the time.

Low B vitamins often involved

When were vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin last tested

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking?

It's a symptom of B12 deficiency or of Pernicious Anemia.

This is described as a symptom in Stop the Thyroid Madness by Janie A. Bowthorpe.

I had it when I did body combat at the gym before i was on T4, when I was on a good dose, it went.

I have that book, will look up. Many thanks

It is also a symptom of pernicious anaemia, so I'd ask GP to check as this condition is also a serious condition and you must be prescribed vitamin B12 injections regularly.
