Hi. Went to General Practitioner today.

Yep officially anaemic, low vitamin D and a heart murmur to boot. Anyone else had this diagnosis with their Graves Disease?

TSH <0.01

FT4 120

FT3 44.5

I have been taking a beta blocker and now carbimazole. Feeling nausea and wanting to vomit.

Don't know about the definition of a murmur but my heart uses to miss beats when I was hyperthyroid. It wasn't just the odd beat either. It was often. It was that that made me go to the GP. By that time my levels were high but nothing like yours. I didn't have graves though.

Hi. Apparently the dr can hear the murmur. Thanks for your reply though.

My heart skips a beat and sometimes I get palpitations but luckily my heart is normal. You could be experiencing side-effects from one of the drugs if you feel nauseous. Read the leaflet that comes with them and see if this is the case or you could ask a pharmacists advice because they know a lot more about drugs than some doctors.

Feeling very nauseous. Take two steps and you want to throw up. I am on Betaloc 23.75 as I have asthma. Taking an antinausea tablet now. Thank you for your reply.

Feeling nauseous and dizzy is listed as one of the side-effects od Betaloc .... have you asked your doctor about this?

I just read this about the drug

"If you feel light-headed, dizzy or faint when getting out of bed or standing up, get up slowly.

You may feel light-headed or dizzy when you begin to take BETALOC. This is because your blood pressure has fallen suddenly.

Standing up slowly, especially when you get up from bed or chairs, will help your body get used to the change in position and blood pressure. If this problem gets worse or continues, talk to your doctor"
