Igennus Super B is good quality and cheap vitamin B complex. Contains folate. Full dose is two tablets per day. Many/most people may only need one tablet per day. Certainly only start on one per day (or even half tablet per day for first couple of weeks)
Or Thorne Basic B or jarrow B-right are other options that contain folate, but both are large capsules
If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results
If those were my results I wouldn't be feeling well. T4 under range, T3 low, TSH is ok but if it starts creeping up it won't be . Vit D low. If you are taking biotin and your t4&t3 are falsely elevated then they are seriously low.
It is unlikely your gp will do anything until you are really ill and your TSH around 10 so if you are feeling unwell, now is the time to start doing something about it. My experience is that most gp's know very little about thyroids and are not really interested. I'm not sure why gp thinks t4&t3 so low due to infection, I would want that explained properly in writing in case I needed to refer back to it at a later date.
I had a good Endo who I saw private first time £175.00 for an hour. He put me on his nhs list straight away. I am a bit concerned if you are paying a similar amount for not very much in return. I would want a more professional response than 'infection' causing low t4&t3 and the reason you feel unwell, not value for money. On a previous post you say your pituitary gland works fine, I had normal TSH and I have no thyroid, it never went over 6 even with no meds, we don't all fit in (normal range). Tests do not always match up with how you feel. Get some questions ready, ask for everything in a follow up email or letter. Ask if you should be referred to another specialist. It's all very well Drs saying nope you are fine when some of us quite obviously are not. X
