Interpreting latest Thyroid test results

Would really appreciate anyone's comments / advice on my latest test results (photo attached).

I was diagnosed with Underactive Thyroid at 14 years old (I'm now 35). I've been on 125mg Levothyroxine per day since then, until three weeks ago. Currently taking 150mg Levothyroxine as recommended by my GP.

Thank you

So when were these tests from...on 125mcg ?

Suspect this test is taken after dose increase to 150mcg ...if so three weeks is too soon.......testing needs to be minimum 6-8 weeks after dose increase

Was test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test?

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking?

Ferritin is low

Thank you very much for your comments.

Yes, this test was taken after the increase.

I took the test as soon as I woke last Sunday around 10am (no food or drink prior), and hadn't taken my Levothyroxine since the morning before.

Since the end of May I've taken a mineral supplement (Modere Mineral Classic - Belgium brand) containing: Vit C, Vit B1 B2 B6 B12, Biotin, Iodine, Selenium, Chrome, Molybdenum.

Also (Modere Protozymes Support) probiotic with l-glutamine

L-Lysine

Along with a healthy organic diet and fermented foods/drinks.

You have Hashimoto’s, as confirmed by high TPO antibodies. You don’t want any supplements that contain iodine

Also need to stop any supplements that contain biotin a week before ALL blood tests

Biotin can falsely affect test results

Thank you for this information. I was recommended iodine by a homeopath, however I will stop taking this and send the article on.

I'll also wait and have another test after a break from taking the supplement.

And check on ferritin.

Many thanks again for your time and help, it's very much appreciated.

Your results from 2018 show high mcv which can indicate b12 defiency even in the absence of normal serum b12. Might be worth testing active b12 or mma and checking mcv now (if you haven't already. Self injection s could help with fatigue.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your advice. I’m having mcv checked again next week and will revert back.
