Hi ,I had an Iron infusion last Friday and have,nt felt very well since.I feel very shaky,not with it at all.Could it have affected my thyroid medication?

I don’t have experience of this, but I would contact the doctor or specialist Who arranged the transfusion, or their clinic/department, and ask if your symptoms are normal, and how long they are likely to last. Mention you are taking thyroid medication and anything else you think might be relevant. Perhaps you are feeling better already, as your question was a few days ago. I hope so! Good luck.
I did get in contact with my doctor,I,ve had a blood test so I will know soon if it has affected my levels.Its just that I felt well before the infusion.They did say it can cause headaches and flu like symptoms. I just felt that it stopped my medication working,i still feel shaky and anxious even now.I will know soon enough.Thank you for replying.
