Has anyone used a kidney glandular for the adrenals?

Please could anyone share if using a kidney glandular improved adrenal support. Adaptogins don't work for me

Why not use an adrenal glandular rather than a kidney glandular?

What exactly is your adrenal problem? Have you done a 24 hour saliva adrenal/DHEA test?

Adaptogens and adrenal glandulars do different things.

Thanks yes had saliva and blood work done and each time low and high evening. DHEA always low. Tried adrenal cortex and glandular which left me hanging adrenaline rushes.weight loss, dizziness and nausea. Shakiness as well. I don't tolerate T3 beyond 2.5 mcg otherwise I urinate nearly every20 minutes.

Well, as the kidneys are not part of the endocrine system and have a completely different function to the adrenals - kidneys filter and detoxify the blood and maintain water balance in the body, adrenals produce cortisol and other hormones - so a kidney glandular will support kidneys and an adrenal glandular will support adrenals. So I can't see how a kidney glandular will help your adrenals.

We can see from past posts that you have Hashi's and that a few years ago you were treated for Vit D deficiency. Hashi's tends to cause low nutrient levels and deficiencies and it's important to test them regularly. What are your latest results, including reference ranges, for

TSH

FT4

FT3

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

Nutrient levels need to be optimal before adding T3.

If we can see these results we may be able to make further suggestions. If your GP can't do all of those tests, maybe consider doing what hundreds of us here have to do, that is private tests with one of our recommended labs.

Could be you're having problems with the glandular because of hertzeimer reaction? Can get with glandular s if your body needs it according to some. If so, could reduce dosage then build up.

I ordered different glandular a few days ago so can compare notes in future.
