Help with results please

Hi experts ,I’m diagnosed with Hashimoto’s And I’m doing well but my brother has very similar symptoms to me when I was diagnosed,here are his results ,it doesn’t seem like he has a thyroid issue ,am I right ?

Your right he doesn’t appear to have high antibodies. That doesn’t rule Hashimoto’s out

20% of Hashimoto's patients never have raised antibodies

An ultrasound scan of thyroid may help get diagnosis

His Ft4 is extremely low and Ft3 low suggesting his thyroid is starting to fail

Next step get vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested

Plus coeliac blood test too.

Was this test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water

Ya the test was done first thing and nothing eaten etc .hes been searching and searching for years to explain his symptoms I was almost hoping his antibodies were high so I could help him .

Well he probably does have Hashimoto’s

Getting thyroid ultrasound can confirm

Essential to test vitamins. Low vitamins lower TSH

Getting vitamins optimal frequently results in TSH rising so that can get levothyroxine prescribed

Trying strictly gluten free (after coeliac test has been done)

If he were being treated with levothyroxine, with those results (low Free thyroid hormones, TSH above 1) we would recommend he ask for a dose increase.
