Switch from levo to Ndt issues

Ive just switched from levothyroxine to erfa NDT and I'm finding I'm having hot flashes and anxiety but also feeling tired. Can it be rough switching over meds? I'm not sure if I'm over or under medicated I have to wait 4 more weeks to test. I just don't feel like myself a bit all over the place. I was expecting to feel immediately better does it take a while for these NDT meds to settle in your system. Not sure if I'm having cortisol surges as I feel a bit hot and angry sometime. Can anyone advise?

It would help people to help you if you gave a little more detail. How much levo were you taking? And how much NDT did you change to? Did you do it all in one go, or gradually? What were your last lab results on levo? :)

We really need more info to comment on your situation in detail.

NDT or adding t3 to levo is not a quick fix. It takes a while to settle into the med change. Then Ft4 and Ft3 levels need to be balanced to suit the individual. So doses need to be built up slowing with testing at each stage.

Thanks I have had my thyroid removed due to cancer so I don't think I can titrate up slowly. Hopefully I'll know more in 4 weeks when I'm tested wether I need to up or reduce the dose. I'm guessing the symptoms I'm having it because of the quick change in meds x

I was on 175 mg of levo my levels were good just slightly low T3. I'm now on 4 tablets of erfa. No I completely switched from one to the other. I don't have my exact lab results sorry. I was just wondering if its normal to feel a bit all over from the jump to NDT. Thank you :)

No I just completely switched from one to the other. I am going to have a blood test in 4 weeks to check my levels though :) last time I tried armour I was under medicated so I may need a higher dose of NDT anyway :)

I have no thyroid so I can't really just have one grain at a time or I'd be totally under medicated x
