I was started on levothyroxine during pregnancy (25mcg initially then increased to 50mcg) as my TSH was 4.99 when I found out I was pregnant. I struggled to get any treatment for years whilst trying to get pregnant as my TSH wasn't deemed high enough (varied between 2.7 and 4), but I fought with my GP to refer me once pregnant as knew the miscarriage risks and I miscarried a twin during this pregnancy. I was advised to drop to my pre-pregnancy dosage 2 weeks post-partum which I assumed meant to stop altogether and to ask my GP to test 6 weeks after delivery. I never got the results from my GP as we were in the middle of moving house but I assume they were within "normal" range or else I would have received a call back. We also moved GP surgery when we moved house and now 8 months later my new GP surgery still don't have my medical history. I therefore decided to get my bloods tested through Medichecks and did the UltraVit one and got results today, there are a couple outside of range (CRP and Vit D):
CRP HS: 11.36 mg/L (<5)**
Ferratin: 34.2 ug/L (13-150)
Folate: 4.27 ug/L (>3.89)
Vitamin B12 Active: 78.7 pmol/L (>37.5)
Vitamin D: 39.5 nmol/L (50-175)**
TSH: 2.63 mIU/L (0.27-4.2)
FT3: 4.51 pmol/L (3.1-6.8)
FT4: 13.7 pmol/L (12-22)
TgAb: 11.9 kIU/L (<115)
TPOAb: <9 kIU/L (<34)
Should I be concerned about my thyroid tests not being within optimal range? Obviously it will be difficult for me to see a GP at the moment but should I have continued taking levothyroxine post-pregnancy and would you advise following up? On 50mcg I think the lowest my TSH ever got to was 1.14 and I think it was just over 2 at my last antenatal appointment.
Can anyone offer advice about these results in general, assume I should perhaps be taking a Vitamin D supplement, not sure why my CRP is high as no obvious infection recently although I do have bouts of stomach inflammation so could be this?
TIA and for any advice offered.
