I and many many others use Medichecks finger prick tests, easy to order online and when you get the results post on here if you need help reading them.

I would encourage you to join ThyroidUK anyway. They have a helpful newsletter and other benefits.

I suggest you become a member....apart from the newsletter etc it is a way of supporting TUK so that they can help thyroid patients by offering the best advice on thyroid disease you are likely to find anywhere!

I see from your profile (and one post) that you are hyperthyroid. Might this help

You have probably seen this already re testing...

Is this the route (link below) you used to try and join TUK?

Is it possible that you were using info from the old web site?

Feel free to ask questions if you need help

Hey there Beauty

I remember replying to you some months ago.

I don't know if you have done some back ground reading from the Elaine Moore Graves Disease website and would like to suggest, reading further of your situation that you get a copy of your original blood tests, prior to taking the anti thyroid drug, and ask how a diagnosis of Graves Disease came about.

There are 2 auto immune thyroid diseases that tend to present, at the beginning, with similar symptoms, but the treatment for each is very different.

There are Graves and Hashimoto's, both autoimmune thyroid diseases, and it is essential that the antibody unique to Graves , generally either referred to as a TSI or TRab has tested positive and that you have an over range reading.

Do you have a positive blood test, for any antibodies, thereby having the medical evidence of which disease you actually are dealing with.
