NDT and synthetic replacement

Is thyroid S the only decent brand of NDT now? Not asking for sources however would also like to know if anyone has recently received post from thailand?

Also has anyone successfully moved over from NDT to synthetic and how did it go? Did you find your dose was a lot higher?

CBann, I believe Thyroid-s is the only Thai thyroid supplement still in production. The various American brands of NDT are available though.

The last I read, Thailand had stopped all shipments out of the country during their lockdown, and these restrictions aren't due to be lifted until July.

Thanks RedApple, I wasn’t asking whether there are other Thai brands of NDT I was just wondering if I there are any brands that are still effective? I was previously on naturethroid but it’s been reformulated and is now useless in my opinion.

Do you know where I can get info about the Thai post? I’ve been waiting for an order of thyroid s since April

With regards to other desiccated thyroid brands, it's a very individual thing, as it always has been. There is not really such a thing as an 'effective' or 'non-effective' brand. Quite simply, what works for one may not necessarily work for another. We each have our own experiences.

Ok no worries. Thanks, yeah your right it is an individual thing - thyroid problems are a bit of trial and error game. Am just fed up as I was fine for years and now because of the reformulation am back to square playing the trial and error game 😤
