Im on 100mg Levo and 10mg of Statin due to slightly high cholestral which is now stable so i should be of them after next blood draw
Lately ive been very tired again with my whole body, neck aching along with headaches most morning and a tight 'band' of aching pain under my breasts and around my back
Has anyone else experienced this please
Thanks in advance

Do you have any recent blood tests (with reference ranges) you could share?
Your symptoms would indicate that you would perhaps need an increase in thyroid hormones. It could also explain your slightly raised cholesterol - if your metabolism is slowed down, your clearance of cholesterol is impaired and hence you see a rise (same goes for glucose). Once you are on a correct dose of thyroid replacement, the cholesterol should go down without the need for medication!
If you haven't had a recent blood test, I would urge you to have one so you can check where you are at.
May also be worth checking your vitamin status (Vit D3, B12) as well as ferritin and folate. If you have a lack of B12 or low iron, this could also explain the tiredness.
If you have an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), treatment may be delayed until this problem is treated. This is because having an underactive thyroid can lead to an increased cholesterol level, and treating hypothyroidism may cause your cholesterol level to decrease, without the need for statins. Statins are also more likely to cause muscle damage in people with an underactive thyroid.
What are your most recent thyroid and vitamin results?
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Ask GP to test vitamin levels and thyroid antibodies if not been tested
You may need to get full Thyroid testing privately as NHS refuses to test TG antibodies if TPO antibodies are negative
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
That’s probably due to the Statins, they wanted to put me on them but gave me a choice and I refused.
Statins caused problems like yours to my brother who was put on them, only his got much worse and in the end he could barely move. So he stopped taking them and felt better for it. He makes sure that he eats food that helps reduce cholesterol.
I control mine with oats for breakfast with oat milk on them.
