Is anyone having problems getting Mercury Pharma Liothyronine from their chemist. Mine has just told me that he has telephoned 22 sources without success. What are others using who are happy with theirs?

Someone posted the same thing earlier today.

I'm happy with Teva lio - the much-publicised Teva problems have related to Teva levo, not lio, so give it a try - especially if you can't find Mercury anywhere ... Good luck x

Morningside is good....blister packed so lasts better than MP

Yep. I'm having the same issues.

Would be helpful if they told us WHEN supply would be replenished, then we could decide whether to wait a little.

Hope they're not using this lockdown as an excuse.

It's unnerving times and it affects everything. I'm thinking how worse will it get.

I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago from Asda. It wasn't on their system so they had to phone the order through. The manufacturer might be listed as Advanz rather than MP.

I picked up a month’s worth of Mercury Pharma T3 this morning.

Pharmacist did say they’re struggling to get lots of drugs. 3 items I needed were not in.

She also said GPs were going to restrict repeats to one month only.

I’ve used MorningSide (?) for a while, didn’t work as well for me as MP, my TSH went up a bit but I fear we won’t have much choice about brands for a little while ☹️
