Sourcing Mercury Pharma T3

Hi Guys,

I have a UK prescription for T3 and I want to go onto mercury pharma brand as that is what the hospital gave me and I was ok on that brand, but when I phone the chemists to see who can supply it they are all saying they can't get me a certain brand, they just get what they are sent!

Can anyone help me and tell me how I get the same brand each month please? It's so frustrating!

I get Mercury liothyronine each month-it’s written on my prescription and Boots supply it. Can you get doc to specify brand on prescription?

I am going to ask if they can put it on it. My endo wrote in the letter to them that I feel well on mercury pharma brand. Just don't understand why they are saying that if it isn't true!

I always get my from Boots.

I get mine from Asda.

Just be aware that the helpful suggestions might not apply in all areas of the UK. For example, an Asda or Boots in one county might have different supply chains to branches at the other end of he country - one of the other three countries.
