What is the Protocol

Hi all, i have a history of having a clot and am on aspirin, i was given Kliofem which may increase risk of clots. I get serious leg pains, no swelling, no redness and i have not knocked or bumped it. I was given naproxen and after the course the pain was still as bad as ever/ I was given a second course, still pain persists, i was given third course along with gabapentin and i decided to stop taking the Kliofem as i remembered the clot risk although all the quacks i had seen said it was not a clot. After a while the pain stopped. This was in january. Two weeks ago i again started taking the Kliofem as symptoms returned and low and behold the leg pain is back. I sent a e mail to my GPs as they are no longer open due to the virus but as yet they have not replied. I went to the A and E where they just sent me back home and said that my leg pain was not due to the Kliofem and no scan or ct and with no treatment. Now my query is that with a history of a clot on the brain shouldn't they have scanned to check for another clot as the Kliofem increases risk. What should i do, i am in a lot of pain and can not walk very far. I have stopped taking the Kliofem again and mentioned this to the nurse, healthcare assistant who looked after me and she replied that if the pain went after stopping Kliofem it would tp prove that the Kliofem was the cause.

Kliofem is HRT? Wondering why a GP would prescribe this if you have blood clots? Perhaps look up drug contraindications, interactions & side effects. There may be some information on Rxisk.org.

As your query isn’t thyroid related, you may find more specific information on Womens Health or the pain forum.
