They do come out with some tosh!

Have a look at this recent thread and scroll down to helvella 's reply, it has details of how to contact them. Get accurate information from them direct then you can correct your pharmacist!

They replied on Friday, advising me that they have 25, 50 and 100 mcg in stock, and asking me to ask the pharmacy to contact them, so that they can 'guide' them to obtain the stock. Coincidentally on the same day the pharmacy left a voice message to advise that my 25 mcg were now in stock. This must be a coincidence as I didn't mention the name of the pharmacy. Very odd though.

As it happens, I picked up my own prescription on Friday. I get 100 microgram Accord (Actavis/Almus/Northstar) and 25 microgram Mercury Pharma - and found them at Boots.

They didn't seem to have an issue at all (I did ask).

I had real problems getting this before Christmas , eventually the pharmacist got it in bulk 500 tablets in a large bottle and then decanted them into a smaller pill bottle for me.

It took nine weeks before they got a supply, fortunately I had a supply or Euthyrox that I'd bought in Italy last year.

My pharmacy started doom message over a year go. I didn’t see it but was told a notice appeared on the door saying couldn’t guarantee medications! Now it’s really bad service, apparently my lateness in receiving was down to not getting the right brand for me so I told then I’d never had that for over a year! Then I find they don’t prepare medication in order of receipt so mine took over 3 weeks when people were coming in and collecting ones from that morning so either they are still trying to blame Brexit to prove they were right or they are badly disorganised. I must say I don’t recognise the staff anymore.

I was having problems getting it at my local pharmacy, and struggled with their nonsense for nearly tw years, so I sat down one day and rang every pharmacy within a 25 mile radius (I live in Scotland), until I found one and they don't supply any other brand, so I get my two month supply there without any hassle, when I am prescribed any other meds, I ring in advance and they have it in for me when I get to them. They are privately owned, way more helpful and obliging. No Brexit has nothing to do with it.... every pharmacy have their own deals going with the suppliers.
