Just a quick update

I am currently abroad for the past week have one more week before I return home to the UK

Stress triggers bad symptoms for Graves Disease sufferers personally I have never felt better since I came abroad. Hand tremors is gone I feel absolutely great

I am hoping this good feeling will continue in the UK but I doubt it. UK is fast lane gradually stress builds up.

Interesting I am not taking L-carnitine whilst I am abroad do not miss it 😊

It has proven to me that my stress is my downfall must try to eliminate

I am not taking anti thyroid tablets

Look up Sadhguru on YouTube, and learn that we make our own stress, not the outside influences.

Strangely enough I think my sunny holiday with my family in June of last year made me go into my second remission. However I think I over did it because I then had a thyroid storm the end of July. Because I started to feel well I tried to cram everything in that I had been missing out on for the 2 years I was ill. I am not saying that will happen to you because a thyroid storm is a rare occurrence. Just try to keep your stress levels low when you get home and be kind to yourself. As soon as I felt better I decided my whole house needed cleaning and decorating and I think I over did it. I then went to my friends wedding and collapsed with a suspected heart attack which was infact my thyroid. Just don't over do things like I did.

Where are you? Looks beautiful! I believe when we have something else to focus on besides our health issues it allows are bodies to just relax and things like shaking hands or feeling blue start to subside. I think this trip your on is telling you when you get home get involved in some sort of busy enjoyable activity!

I have been watching a programme about people who move to either France or Spain to start a business. I am tempted to retire there but I don't like the hot sun so I have been thinking about France. My husband did A level French and still speaks it and I know some French. However he doesn't want to leave the UK so we will probably stay here.

I like watching the programme about couples who have decided to get married in Cyprus because it is cheaper. We used to have Greek Cypriot neighbours and we attended a couple of their family wedding. They were amazing and every table had a basket of fruit and free alcohol on there. I loved pinning money on the bride which was better than giving wedding presents.
