This docuseries is so well done and revealing the important aspects of supplements.
No doubt in this toxic world we have to fight for our health and that includes the right supplementation. I've been very impressed with how functional doctors have been able to find what's wrong, given supplements and see what has actually helped.
I'll probably make more comments after I watch it.

The second speaker was a designer of drugs and revealed how it's done, what to look for, mistakes that could be made. He also spoke on mitochondria. If your muscles seem tight it is often a mitochondria dysfunction. There were good questions the moderator asks which would be the same as we would. He points out the need or enzymated or active b vitamins with mthfr. He makes a multivitamin that contains the right form of b vitamins so look for those things.
CDP choline can get through the blood brain barrier. Ketones are good for the brain c8 mcts even better than coconut oil. You can over stimulate serotonin. BCA branch chain amino acids can be made from duck feathers. Cellular turnover it important, nonstop anabolic is not good, you also need catabolic to break down.
Getting nutrients to the mitochondria means the substance has to get through the stomach, through the bowel, through the plasma, through the cell membrane and finally to the mitochondria which make the fuel. This may be a problem if any of these mechanisms aren't working. I learned before that the membrane can be too thick from hydrogenated fats and cholesterol.
This was a must see interview Sean Wells. He said that two markers were most indicative of your health and that is inflammation C RP and glycation A1C and if nothing else get those. Diarrhea is the #1 killer in the world probably due to poor water but he mentions C Diff for those in the hospital can kill quickly. He talks about fecal transplants can save people quickly but still not mainstream.
This was very instructive if you want to supplement and they can make an amazing difference in your health.
I left my tab for episode 2 in the middle of the program and I can still play it today! It doesn't always work and you should not shut down the computer.
The third interviewer is a likable young man and a good share of his time was on cbd oil. If you are deciding about it, you should listen to his in depth comments. Here are a few notes I took about cbd. CBD has exploded but he points out what to look for. Tests of 84 products and 74% did not meet claims. Some had higher THC contents.
THC content should be no more than .3%. A QR code on your lot lets you look up content of your CBD. This plant draws up metals from soil and should be removed before selling. US Hemp Authority has a 3rd party certification program. They may use ethanol to remove the metals and leave some in the final product. Certified through the Farm Bill is safer. There are 100 Phyto cannabenoids in the plant besides cbd, cbn cbg, etc. so it needs more research to see what each one does but it is proven to relieve symptoms of many conditions. Different forms can be purchased so whichever appeals to you in gummies, foods, or tinctures, etc. Tincture, under tongue, may be more absorbed.
Hemp is different from marijuana, two different plants. There is 35% thc in marijuana compared to cbd's .3%
