Hello thyroid friends!
I'm thinking of switching from Nature-Throid over to Metavive as I'm unable to get it as easily these days.
My current dose of Nature-Throid is 1.5 Grain (97.5mg) that I take once a day every morning (feeling great ont his dose for years now). Does anyone, that's done a similar switch, have any guidance on which Metavive type and dosage to take?
They don't advertise the T4/T3 amount so I'm a big clueless.

Hi, I was on 1 1/2 thyroid s and lab results similar on 3 x metavive 1 but we are all different and I have heard of ppl on 6 x metavive 2 who were on 2 1/2 other NDT. Accept it could take a while and start losing and work up is my advice 😁 It is classed as a supplement, hence no t3 t4 amounts given... It's how they can sell it in the UK. Good luck

That's because it's not NDT nor is it claimed to be. It's a thyroid glandular, a food supplement, with no declared hormone content.
Some people do well on Metavive but it's a case of try it and see.
They do a porcine and a bovine Metavive, so it might be a good idea to start on the porcine one.
Three ii’s should be about right.
