Hi lovely peeps

Does anyone know anything about Tiromel T3 please ? I'm going to be getting it on NHS through my endo but just took my prescription to the hospital pharmacy and he mentioned that it would probably be tiromel ? I have seen tiromel in the site I used to buy my own T3 from but I'm sure it was a combo of T4 and T3 ? Unless I got it wrong ? I'm nervous of anything I don't know about and tried to research it but nothing came up so I wondered if any members have had any experience with it thanks in advance x

Highly unlikely to be Timorel.

NHS only has three licensed T3 brands.

Mercury Pharma

Morningside Healthcare

Teva

Any other brands are unlicensed and only prescribed as “special prescription “ usually at hideously inflated price charged to NHS

That's very interesting as the pharmacy also said it was available to buy which I thought was weird . Thanks

Used to be the Turkish brand - I got some once but ended up giving it to others - since my other 'stocks' were replenished. One person used it all of the time and did well. xox

Thankyou , I guessed it probably wasn't much good due to the cheap price and so readily available. Thankyou for your reply

I wouldn't write it off just yet - heard people say that it's fine. I always used - recommended, no advised - and source given by Dr P, supposedly 'the best' = Cynomel. I only got Tiromel in the case of emergencies + for a good while I used Uni Pharma from Greece when there were shortages of Cynomel.
