My Tsh on January 21,20 is 0.50

On October 19 was 3.70

Platlets high 434 ( 142-346)

Abs lymph automated 5.24( 0.42-3.22)

Is my Hashimoto getting worse?

Still trying to find my low energy and lethargy reason.

My A1c is better 5.9( 4.6-5.9)

My endo won’t raise my Armour thyroid dose from 0.45 mg, risk of heart etc in my age!

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies

Ask GP to test vitamin levels

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

If/when also on Armour make sure to take last dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test
