Back on thyroid medication after months : please advices

I hope someone will have time to help me.

im 41 years old and i suspect i have been (undiagnosed) hypothyroid all my life. After giving birth to my son 5 years ago i started taking levothyroxine and i took it on and off for years (with no benefits). I took very high doses of levothyrox, very high doses of T3... and i never felt good.

8 months ago i gradually reduced then stopped all thyroid medications and decided to give my body a break. I felt exactely the same way than before : tired, lazy etc (like i have been my whole life anyway).

These last months i noticed I started gaining weight, and wasnt able to loose it despite many efforts (low carb, keto, intermittent fasting etc).... i went to check my thyroid hormones, did a blood test see results under.

- TSH : 1,529 MIU/L

Reference lab: 0,55-4,78

- Free T3: 2,76 pmol/L

Reference lab: 3.50-6,50 pmol/L

- FreeT4: 11,76 pmol/L

Reference lab: 11,50-22,70 pmol/L

Antibodies are negatives.

Im surprised that my TSH is that low. usualy it is on the higher range. t3 and t4 have always been low even on (high t4/T3) medication so no surprise.

I dont want to go back on levothyrox and t3/t4 and i would like to give thyro-gold a try (i have 2 bottles in my closet)

Could you please let me know if 1 cap of thyo-gold (150mg would be enough?) i know i have to remain on 150mg for 2 weeks and then adjust.

Any advice is much apreciated

Perhaps your doctor needs to exclude central hypothyroidism?

What is central hypothyroidism?

I don't know much about it and neither do many doctors but it's an unresponsive pituitary gland I think. Read up about it. I just know that TSH, FT4 and FT3 can be low together with central hypo.
