Best way to take NDT

Hi everyone so im on thryoid s for 3 days now ive always taken my ndts sublingually since thyroid-s claim to be to potent for me to take it that way..im trying to swallow it so.maybe it wont be so strong.i take mine 3 times a day 60mg at 11am 60mg at 5pm and 30mg 10pm(i work nights)how is this going to work with food?im.not used to having to swallow my pill ..i did tht today and feel good today but im.scared tht because im taking it 3 times a day where does food come in?lol any advice on adjustments i can do ect?i thought i had to wait 3 hours between eating

I used to take my whole 1 and half grains in the morning before eating with a glass of water. Someone I used to chat to was on bigger dose and would take 2 grains (2 tablets) in the morning and one grain a night before going to bed. I think she waited a few hours after eating. I hope this helps.

Thanks yes it does help thank you.i would have to slightly increase then...ugh.lol i didnt know thyroid-s would be strong cant take sublingually 😒you worked your way up to taking that dose?

It is all trial and error with NDT if you feel jittery you can always reduce your dose by 1/2 a grain at the next dose. Do you have a pill cutter?

Im going to buy a pill cutter today my okd one are rusty.lol havent had to split a dose in years..yes its triall a error its just alittle frustrating because i been there done it and taking sublingually was easy
