It is interesting that she claims free T3 testing is as accurate as free T4 despite some recent discussion here which included diogenes on this point

What she indicated was that TSH rather than FT3 is best at diagnosing the onset of thyroid disease, but when treatment is needed, FT3 rather than TSH is the best diagnostic.

Yes that rather important point needs stressing (and taken by me).

It was just the recent discourse about FreeT3 assays got me quite worried on a monitoring medication front but this article seems reassuring.
