Shockingly low results. In your post of a month ago you said you were supplementing B12. Ferritin is good around 70 or mid range & B12 around 500. Have you been tested for PA or Pernicious Anaemia ?

How to supplement then? I have thalassemia minor, but I am not sure if it is related.

With Thalassemia you need professional advice. Maybe a Greek Doctor as I believe the condition is more common among Greeks and Cypriots .....

Aah ! The Greek island of Evia !! Ferritin is stored iron. I had a GP appointment this morning and mine was slightly over as I eat liver weekly and black pudding !

Your TSH is rising

Compared to last post

Ferritin- is terrible. You need referral to haematology

B12 is way below range.

Post result on PAS healthunlocked

You need folate tested too

Have you had full testing for Pernicious Anaemia yet

Vitamin D needs testing too

You are B12 deficient - treatment with a B12 that low (particularly if you have any neurological symptoms - tingling in hands and fit, problems with balance - should be a series of loading shots. The most likely cause of the deficiency is PA - particularly if you have hashimotos. Loading shots should then be followed by maintenance doses.

Sounds like you aren't based in the UK and protocols with B12 treatment do vary considerably from one country to another.
