Jarrow B Right intense itching

hello I was recommended on here Jarrow B Right complex to take but I took it only for 3 days as the intense itching was too much to handle but my question is does it go away if I persevere will my body get used to it? it's just it cost a lot to buy and I've run out of my current B complex ( this made me slightly itch but only the first dose) I know this is a really good one to take and wish I didn't suffer this reaction thank you

Just a thought - it could be that the ‘itching’ is due to the niacin content in B Right. Niacin causes flushing, which can make people feel hot and itchy - a bit like hives. I used to give my sons BRight and one of them kept complaining of getting hot and itchy when he was on his way to college and this worried him until we worked out that it was a niacin flush, which wears off and is harmless.

If your niacin levels are low I think that one is more liable to get the ‘niacin flush’.

Take the BRight with a meal and this should reduce the flushing.

Niacin is great for depression and to help one relax but the flushing needs some acclimatisation!

thank you I was taking it in the morning without food as I was told it could affect sleep which I can't risk as i already don't get to sleep nightly til 3 or 4an. plus I was prepared for the niacin flush but this intense itching lasted over 12 hours. I have been taking a good b complex and got no niacin flush but this jarrow one has higher doses of all the b's
