Hi, I posted 3 weeks ago and was told what tests to ask my GP got and post results. He was incredibly reluctant as they are in normal range, I gave the list to him but not sure all were tested. Any advice would be great.
Results
TSH 1.6 normal range 0.4-5
T4 12 normal range 9-19
Have taken photos of the rest

Thyroglobulin antibodies and serum thyroglobulin both say Acceptable, no action needed, test not clinically indicated
Also not sure if relevant, I’ve been asked to see the GP for a routine appointment re a Cortisol blood test result which I couldn’t be given for some reason till I’ve seen him
Thyroglobulin antibodies can you add the actual results and ranges on these
FT4 is on the low side
No FT3 result
No vitamin D
No B12
No folate
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Ask GP to test vitamin D, folate and B12 levels
You will need to get full Thyroid testing privately as NHS refuses to test FT3 if TSH is within range
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or all vitamins
Cheapest option for just TSH, FT4 and FT3 £29 (via NHS private service )
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
Thankyou. I did ask for all of them but that’s what I got. The Thyroglobulin doesn’t have a reading, it just says acceptable no action needed. I’m going to have to go private.
