Your test result was below range in September and has slightly improved with your latest test but still very low. Low Ferritin can suggest iron deficiency anaemia so your GP should do a full blood count and iron panel.

Are you male, that range is normally for a male, it goes higher than the female range. Ferritin is recommended to be half way through range although most doctors are satisfied to see it anywhere within range, even at the very bottom.

Google for symptoms of low ferritin, list any that you may be experiencing to support your request for further testing.

Well your kidneys are all ready flagged up there - AKI.

Elevated creatinine is also connected with kidneys.

You should discuss this with your GP as mentioned on your other thread.

You can see that sodium and potassium are within range.

I think your very low Ferritin should also be addressed. Have you googled for symptoms of low ferritin as suggested?

Hi seasidesusie

Yep googled it I've got the lot but gp says no action required

My Serum total bilirubin level is 6 umol/L.... range is... <21.00 umol/L.. That don't look good... 🤔

Of course your bilirubin is good, the range says that a result should be less than 21 (<21) and yours is 6. If it was over 21 that wouldn't be good.

If you have symptoms of low Ferritin have you actually listed them and been back to discuss them with your GP in the light of your dire Ferritin result? If not then that's what you should do, even seeing a different GP if necessary.

Hi

Just got these results yesterday trying to take them in gp said no action required on these.. I'm waiting on T3 T4 and antibodies as my usual gp said he was doing them but didn't... So made a new doctor do them when I was their yesterday... 👍

Low ferritin is very common when hypothyroid

Eating liver or liver pate once a week, plus other iron rich foods like black pudding, prawns, spinach, pumpkin seeds and dark chocolate, plus daily vitamin C can help improve iron absorption
