Profile update....

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroid/Grave's disease in 2014. I feel I had it long before that. Of course, they offered the usual radioactive drink or thyroidectomy...I refused both and opted for Tapozole. A few months into the medication I started to go hypo and it started to affect my eyes. My medication was reduced but the Thyroid eye disease progressed. Three surgeries later I'm still struggling with double vision. On the positive side I am no longer on Tapozole.....and my thyroid is stable. I have blood tests every eight weeks and TSH, Ft3, FT4 all tested even if my TSH looks normal. This forum and it's people have been my life line in all the dark times. Thank you

Did you mean to put this on your profile page or post on the forum?
