Vitamin B12 (serum) 403.0 ng/l (187.0 - 883.0)
Methylmalonic acid 128 nmol/L (0 - 280)
Active B12 (HoloTC) 85 pmol/L (25 - 108)
Active-B12 (holotranscobalamin - HoloTC), the biologically active fraction of vitamin B12 and total B12 are within our
reference ranges. These two results suggest that the concentration of vitamin B12 in blood is sufficient to support adequately intracellular vitamin B12 metabolism,
hence normal methylmalonic acid
(MMA - functional marker of vitamin B12 deficiency). All results are consistent with each other and suggest good vitamin B12 status at present.
Although my active B12 was 57 with another online test 🤷♀️
My folate is low in range and I’ve SO many B12 symptoms
Much thanks
