does anyone else get electric shocks in their arm?

electric shock
Sounds like it could be neuropathy (due to low b12, low folate or magnesium), but it could be that you need to see a doctor about your heart. I'd book an urgent telephone call to speak to a GP just to be safe.
Years ago before I was treated for Graves I used to get a really unpleasant electric shock feeling right at the base of my skull. It was really awful, a real bzzzz, right through the back of my neck skull and maybe the top of my arms but I’m not sure about that, it was back in 2012 - the whole thing happened very suddenly, for no reason that I could figure out and it was over very quickly.
I never found what caused it and when I tried to explain it to my GP she looked totally bored and suggested I was needing my holiday. Within a couple of months I was on my knees with Graves. I’m not sure that it was connected to Graves but I haven’t had the feeling since.
I get it in my neck xx
Only when I was weaning off of Paxil (SSRI)...got them throughout my whole body, though.
Yes. I get in my arms and shoulders. I have it when my FT4 are high . I think it's a hyper symptom . It happens to me then.
