Advice- block and replace not working

Would anybody be able to advise me I’ve been on block and replace for 10 weeks, thyroid test before treatment Began t4 25.3 tsh0.02 just had thyroid retested after being on levo 100mg and carbimazole 40mg for 10 weeks. results being basically the same t4 25.2 and tsh 0.02. Does anybody know why the results would be the same after being on treatment for a lot of weeks?

Sal when I was hyper with a ft4 of 48 I was put on 40mg of carbimazole to bring my levels down. That was it as I had too much thyroid hormone.

I am not a medic and have no experience of block and replace. I do wonder though if you are just replacing what the carbimazole is blocking by taking 100mcg levo. That could be why your level is not dropping.

As for tsh. Even though my ft4 came down my tsh stayed as low as yours until I had RAI.

Block and replace never worked for me and I got fed up with all the messing about with doses so I had RAI.
