First of all—an announcement. The Kilmarnock Thyroid Support Group will cease to be a separate group and will operate under the umbrella of the West of Scotland group. It is proposed that meetings will be held at the current Newton Mearns location on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings as before, and an additional meeting will be held in the café of the Kilmarnock branch of Morrisons on the last Sunday afternoon of every month.

Please note the following dates:

Thursday 12 September 2019: Newton Mearns, 7pm to 9pm

Thursday 26 September 2019: Newton Mearns, 7pm to 9pm

Sunday 29 September 2019: Kilmarnock, Morrisons café, 3pm to 5pm.

Come and join our friendly, informal group on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Waitrose, 2 Greenlaw Place, Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire G77 6GW to have a blether, offload any problems or worries and exchange ideas about the best vitamin/mineral supplements, food issues and treatments. We will be at a table by the partition with the store side of the café (i.e. not the windows side). A small sign will be displayed on the table. (The café stops serving at 8 but, like the store, remains open till 9.) Hope to see you there!

Just a reminder about this Thursday's meeting at Newton Mearns, chaps and chapesses! Also about Sunday's meeting at Morrisons, West Langlands Street, Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, KA1 2PY at 3pm to 5pm. For those who don't know me, I have short dark brown/(grey!) hair and I'll be wearing a navy blue fleece. A small sign with the West of Scotland support group logo will be displayed on the table. Hope to see you there!
