West of Scotland (Glasgow) Thyroid Support Group: next meeting Thursday 28 February 2019

Come and join our friendly, informal group on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Waitrose, 2 Greenlaw Place, Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire G77 6GW to have a wee blether over coffee, offload any problems or worries and exchange ideas about the best vitamin/mineral supplements and treatments. We will be at a table by the partition with the store side of the café (i.e. not the windows side). A small sign will be displayed on the table. (The café stops serving at 8 but remains open till 9.) Hope to see you there!

Could you please let us know the date of your meetings a bit earlier? I usually see this the day before/on the day so don't have time to arrange to be there. I'm a 40 - 50 mins drive away.

Humble apologies, Janice. I'll try and post a lot earlier. However, meetings are always on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month (except August and December). Hopefully you will already have seen the post about our meeting on Thursday 14 March, which is a bit of a break from the usual informal setup, as we are having a visit from a professional declutterer and life coach to give a chat and answer questions.

Thanks, SailingBy, always meant to check if it was set times in the month but never got round to it. Next meeting sounds really interesting (have you already seen my house?!) but I don't think I'll be able to make it. Too many other things on and not enough energy.

Yes, I'm coming from Ayrshire - Mauchline, actually - I'm guessing you're near the coast so we could car share sometime. My sister stays in Glasgow (also thyroid problems) and I keep passing on the meeting details to her. She has commitments on Thursday nights at the moment but hopefully she'll be able to come along in a few months.

I'm actually just the other side of Kilmarnock, so if you'd like to leave your car at mine we could go on together. I'll PM you nearer the time of the next meeting in the hope that you might be able to come, and give you my address. I hope your sister will be able to come along too soon.
