Lymphedema?

Has anyone experienced lymphedema provoked by thyroid medication? I woke up with severe swelling and pain from left toes to knee the day after my first dose of armour thyroid. Only left side. Was eventually diagnosed as stage 1 lymphedema and likely irreversible.

I would very much doubt it was due to the Armour. Why do you think it was that?

Thanks for your reply. Only because there was no other precipitating factor. I do not have a history (or any family history) of lymphedema and it appeared the morning after I took my first dose.

Well, unless you reacted badly to the fillers. But, it wouldn't have been the hormone itself because the reaction was too fast.

Besides, if your doctor said it was possibly irreversible, It can't have been due to the Armour. Irreversible doesn't happen over-night - or in a morning.
