Hi guys, can you recommend a good quality D3/K2 please, preferably one that doesn’t have to be kept in the fridge. Thanks Mandy

I'm unaware that any D3 needs to be kept in the fridge.
Best D3 depends on whether or not you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's).
If you have Hashi's then for best absorption an oral spray (eg BetterYou) is recommended, or a sublingual liquid. This is because they bypass the stomach and are absorbed through the mucous membranes in the oral cavity.
If you don't have Hashi's then an oil based softgel (eg Doctor's Best) gives best absorption, far superior to tablets or capsules.
D3 is fat soluble so needs some fat to be absorbed, the oil based softgels/liquid are ideal and any D3 supplement should be taken with the fattiest meal of the day or dietary fat of some kind.
K2 again is fat soluble so again an oil based softgel is best (eg Healthy Origins) and it's possible to get sublingual liquid as well.
If you look at combination D3/K2 supplements then be aware of the amount of K2 that's included. For up to 10,000iu D3 the recommended amount of K2-MK7 is 100mcg.
What is your current Vit D level?
I notice from your previous threads on the forum that you have no replies to your response. This is because you replied to own original opening post rather than the member who replied to you. When replying to someone's post, you need to click on the blue "Reply" directly below their message (next to the word "More"), that way an automatic notification gets sent that you have replied to them. If this isn't done then the member doesn't know that you've replied.
Thank you for your reply. I have Hashi’s. My last Vit D level was 44 and I have been taking drops by Nutri, a combo Vit D3/K2 (they are my husbands and he keeps them in the fridge). I assumed they had to be? The trouble with that is that I forget to take them as they are out of sight. So, I wanted to get a combined tablet/spray that is easy to carry around. I had my bloods taken yesterday, so will see what all my levels are next week. Getting the best supplement always seems such a challenge (to me anyway). Thanks Mandy
I’ve been using these, I get them from Amazon and they seem ok. I used to use a vitamin D3 spray but then I found these that have D3, K2 and magnesium. They are in a capsule which I like and they are quite small to swallow and under normal conditions they don’t need to be kept in the fridge
Vitamin K2, D3 and Magnesium Combo: 3-in-1 Formula by NutriZing. 3000IU Vitamin D3, 150mcg VIT K2 (MK-7) and 20mg Magnesium in a Single Capsule. Maintenance of Normal Bones, Teeth & Muscle Function.
They sound convenient. What are the other ingredients in them?
I don’t know, all it says on the ingredients is D3,K2 and magnesium but I imagine there has to be some sort of filler and binder but I’ve found their page and it gives a phone number if you want to call them and ask.

I clicked on ingredients and a message “gone fishing “ appeared! It should have all the ingredients on the packing somewhere.
Got the same page as you did when I looked. Finally found that Amazon or someone has stuck a bar code label over the ingredients side. Could still just about see the ingredients in English - but - the print was so tiny I had to go find a magnifying glass and believe it or not the print was still too small for me to be able to read.
Eventually tracked this down on Amazon
Ingredients:
Vitamin K2 (MK-7), Vitamin D3 3000iU, Magnesium Oxide 20mg, HPMC veggie capsule shell, Magnesium Stearate
Also says somewhere that they are gluten free, 100% vegetarian and non GMO
Hope that helps.
That's not much magnesium. Normal serving size of magnesium is around 300-400mg. Also, it's magnesium oxide which is one of the least absorbable forms.

No it’s not, I hadn’t noticed it when I ordered so I was surprised to see it was there when they arrived. I take Voost fizzy magnesium tablets, use magnesium flakes in the bath and Better You rub on magnesium cream or sometimes their gel, so in my case it doesn’t matter. It would if you were counting on the magnesium though.
go to the website of DaVinci and look at the A D k capsule. its what my doctor told me to buy. download the info sheet from the main DaVinci website for full info. it has been amazing in so many helpful ways like D levels and increasing bone mass. Also read the comments on Amazon about it. i just chew it and no refrigerating.
Than you for that information. To have a chewable Vit D would be ideal 👍 I will check them out 😊
