Hi, don't know results, got blood taken 2 weeks ago. My Thyroxine has went from 200mcg to 225mcg.
How do you feel? If you feel OK then do nothing and see how it goes. It is important not to rock the boat with thyroid probs. Keep on your current dose, give your body a chance to really stabilise and see what happens.
I feel ok to be honest. Although I still get tired easily all the time but I did get diagnosed with CFS but I was hoping it would be my thyroid and a mid diagnosis.
There are studies that show that some patients with CFS have low t3. It may be that your t3 is not high enough for you. It is early days on this increase yet. So maybe things will improve. Your t3 is just under half way through the range and most need it over half way through the range at least.
Your t4 is 59% through range. T3 39.46% through range. There is a little wiggle room for Inc in t4. T3 generally needs to be over 50%through range minimum to feel well.
So you think going up to 100mcg or staying on 75mcg and incorporating a T3 medication?
I am no medic just a fellow traveller but yes. If you went up a whole 25mcg it might be too much. The Dr definitely won't see the need for an Inc and if that Inc reduces your tsh the Dr will probably throw a wobbly. You know your body and how it reacts to Inc in meds so if you think you can Increase try. It will be easier to try a little extra levo than it will be to get t3 meds!
