Afraid I have no information as to whether he holds private clinics. Private hosptials usually list the consultants who practice in their facilities.
General information, though, yes - have a look at this search:
I’ve been trying to find out too as I would like a referral to him. I know he does have a thyroid clinic at the Heath, but I’m not sure if he runs it anymore!? I’m also trying to find out, if I do, I will post here as soon as I find out anything

This link says he has NHS clinic

This view is shared by Dr Taylor, who treats patients with an underactive thyroid at his NHS clinics. ‘It is wrong to deny them treatment,’ he says. Both doctors suggest patients who have an unclear hormone test result, but have symptoms, should be put on a three-month trial of levothyroxine.

if you ring his NHS secretary they will know if he sees patients privately
just ask your GP for a referral
I can't afford a private appointment, but if need a referral will certainly ask to see Dr Taylor, as Cardiff is in reasonable travelling distance. The first referral request (I was given an increase in thyroxine instead, thankfully, so don't need a referral just yet) was refused by a stupid local endo. On the grounds that my results were within range - which was the EXACT reason for a referral being needed!!!!
So you are in Wales too? Quite a few of us around it seems. Croeso. Cymru am byth!
No, I'm in Bristol, so could travel if I can find out if he has a private practice.
Hope he's still with the NHS as well, but if he actually understands thyroid problems he will be in very high demand!
Perhaps hypothyroidism is caused by eating Welsh Rarebit? (That's a joke). They used to serve that for lunch in my U.S. elementary school. We children, of course, misread it and thought they were serving us rabbit!
Lol. I don't think the word is even Welsh, would be interesting to look up it's origins. Traditionally it was apparently made with beer. I prefer ordinary cheese on toast though. With tomatoes and jibbons (spring onions)
I make no representations about the truth , but it does seem at least to have some interest:
