Could anyone advise, following gasteritis diagnosed on endoscopy and biopsies I am not absorbing thyroxine and TSH is now 19 GP agreed trial of switch to liquid thyroxine as may absorb better. my dose is 75mcg but as I've not been absorbing for 3 months should I start Lower? she said just take regular dose but I get palpitations with dose increases and have never been over 75 and it was hard getting there. My TSH sits around 7 and I'm ok there but have lots of symptoms at 19. T4 is 16 I don't have ranges but GP said lower end of normal
Any advice please
Thank you as always

I was switched from Levothyroxine tablets to liquid last year.
I too am on 75mcg Levothyroxine.
Also I got high blood pressure if raising my dose.
What I do is split my dose in two.
As it’s liquid it’s so very easy to do this. You can draw into the syringe what ever amount you want.
I take 37 mcg at noon and the other 37mcg going to bed. This works fine for me. Doesn’t matter when you take it as long as avoiding food etc. I also take T3 liothyronine medication now as I’ve recently found out that I have a T4 to T3 conversion disorder. Have you had your T3 checked by your GP or Endocrinologist. You can also find this out by having a DIO2 gene test done through Rengenerus Laboratories privately. I had this done and it came back positive. My life is much much better now that I’m on T4 and T3 medication.
Have you tested your vitamin B-12, vitamin D, folate & ferritin levels recently? I keep reading on this forum that these must be on the high side of their respective normal lab values in order for thyroid medication to be able to do their thing. Maybe your circulating thyroid medication is demanding it have more fuel in the form of vitamin B-12, vitamin D, folate or ferritin?
