I posted last week about having TSH tested last week and it being later in the day and I had taken my dose of thyroxin for that day which I understand is not ideal for accurate results. So I got the results today and wondering if there is anyone on the forum who has medical knowledge on this (don't have faith in my GP surgery, especially given pregnancy context)
So I'm 8.5 weeks pregnant, have Hashimotos and take 100 microgram thyroxin daily.
Are these results a concern in early pregnancy? They've actually been pretty stable for months at around TSH 1.8 and fT4 16
This latest results as follows
TSH 0.18
FT4 27.9
Thank, I'm waiting on fertilty clinic coming back to me with their advice.

Those results have nothing to do with your dose of levo. What has happened there is that you've had a Hashi's 'hyper' swing. Do you know how Hashi's works?
Yes, I understand that. And, the answer from me is, I just don't know. I know nothing about thyroid and pregnancy. But, I thought you ought to know what caused the sudden rise in your levels before your doctor goes and slashes your dose. Because, eventually, the levels will go down by themselves and you will be hypo again, and you will need your full dose, or that will be dangerous for the baby. I just don't know how high levels affect pregnancy. Sorry.
I had my children before I had thyroid issues but understand TSH should be no higher than two but with such a high FT4 you can't really tell what is happening without getting TSH, FT4 and FT3 rested at the same time.
