Hello, my doctor has just called me to tell me my new blood results but I need to pick up the printout in orde4 to get the ranges I think.

tsh 1.03

T4 21.8

T3 4.3

She said it was a little high but wants me to have another test in 6 weeks as she said sometimes it takes a while to level out . I’m currently on 150 levo ( after TT)

Depending on the reference range for the FT4 for instance, your result could be just within range, or over range; so yes, you need the ranges.

It is good she is not rushing to immediately reduce meds in spite of initial thoughts of high. Post ranges when you have them for members to comment on adequacy.

I feel sorry for you due to having had a TT and not being given at the very least a combination of T3/T4. You also need the ranges of your results. Labs differ in their machines and so do the ranges.

Yes I would benefit from t3 I’m sure. I’ve taken so much time off work I don’t think I can afford to get it privately yet unfortunately. As soon as I know I can afford the monthly cost I’ll ask advice where to obtain it. Many thanks
