Previous post discussed low B12

Low B12 and bladder problems can be linked

Fibromyalgia is often linked to low FT3

Thank you. I read the article although I wouldn’t say I have incontinance. It feels like cystitis but with the burning when I urinate. My last blood tests showed quite good T3. I have had two episodes of very sore vagina but that isn’t so bad now.

You may not realise that you can edit any posts or responses you have made here.

HealthUnlocked have produced a simple demonstration of how to do this. You can find this here:

support.healthunlocked.com/...

When you edit the original post in a thread, you will also have the option to add (or remove) a single image. (To replace an image, remove the existing image, then add the new one.)

support.healthunlocked.com/...

I am pointing this out purely to ensure that you know your options. :-)

(If you make extensive changes, it is sometimes helpful to add a comment so that people can see that you have made changes.)

Have you considered interstitial cystitis? I have had this and it is a chronic condition that flares up. Basically the lining of the bladder has lesions which cause the pain when the bladder fills.

I was treated firstly with a bladder distention which worked for a short time but then I had a six week course of cystistat instillations..... since then I feel normal! I can void normally and I’m not going to the loo every 5 mins. The aim is to train your bladder to hold more volume so it’s less irritated. Go caffeine free and limit alcohol... also drink 2 litres of water a day. I don’t have any symptoms now. Hope that helps.

Thank you. Will ask my GP when I go today

Hi Sylvia22,

I had suffered badly with cystitis for at least 7 years and most months before I knew I had hashimotos disease and under active thyroid. I don't know if this is any help but is there a possibility that you could be on a too low dose or too high of thyroxine? I only say this as after I was diagnosed and started medication I have never had it since which is strange and unheard of for me

I hope you get it sorted soon i know how uncomfortable it is.
