Raised cortisol levels day/ night, medium level on waking....how does this affect thyroid treatment (and Dr. Lowe’s fibromyalgia protocol)?

Have had hypothyroidism/ Hashimoto’s 14 years, fibromyalgia 3 years plus insulin dependent diabetes 4 years....been trying to do everything to stop all over pain and exhaustion...improved and maintain optimal ferritin, folate, b12 and vit D, tried Dr. Lowe’s fibromyalgia protocol to raise FT3 ( initially raising levo., then adding T3 then going T3 alone reaching 75mcg). Last thing I could think of testing was my cortisol levels ( Medichecks 4 saliva tests in 24 hours) and they are ‘off’:

8am result 10.1. Range 6-21

Noon. 11.4. (1.5- 7.6)

4 pm. 7.43. (0- 5.5)

11.45 pm. 2.36. (0-2)

Medichecks dr. suggests retest in 3 months. Re my life style: I don’t work, walk daily ( try to do 10,000 steps but tend to fall asleep after first 5,000), don’t have caffeine ( been free 30 years), so my stress is really illness and associated frustration.

Anybody else had low highs, and how did they affect your hypo and / or fibro treatment and control (Especially if you have tried T3 only)? Any advice to improve levels notably during day?

That’s ok, soon realised needed DHEA too. Today someone (? Thyroid obsessed) has posted rather similar ‘problem’ re cortisol too low am, and too high during day etc. But moved on from this as been privately tested for sleep apnoea( mild) and waiting to see NHS consultant.
