2nd hair analysis results

Hi, hope you all are having a good afternoon.

I got the second hair analysis results back and thought I’d post them. Top row of results are the most current and bottom row are the previous test results for reference.

this test was done after completing a detox, mostly competing the Slow Oxidizer protocol, and finishing the EBV protocol assigned by my Functional Medicine doctor.

The test results are not what we expected, and I need to mention that we probably should have gotten this test done after the first protocol to see better what was happening immediately following in order to understand if the supplements helped or made things worse or if it was due to stopping the supplements for a while and no longer taking them.

I have still been consistently taking vD3/ K2 and vB12 and some liquid Iron here and there as it seems to keep dropping even though I eat meat and veggies.

Side note, I did ask if these levels normally fluctuate as you complete a detox and take supplements etc. and he said no, usually thats only the metals and he also mentioned that his patient’s results have looked better. Atleast the Mercury is down some!

Has Anyone gotten one of these done or followed a protocol and it work or not work?

I would suggest that you post your hair results on the mercury site . Andy Cutler Chelation.

Andy Cutler is a foremost authority on mercury toxicity , and removal. He has written a few books , and his admins will interpret hair test results, according to his procedures . There are files for info, and great advice.

I have recently discovered via test patch nhs that I am allergic to metals including dental metals.

What is this detox protocol I’m very interested?

Kind regards

Wow thats good to know, do you have metal dental fillings?

The detox protocol that I did was through the company called Standard Process, actually all of them that I have done is through this company and the ingredients are whole food and gluten free.

Yes I do have Amalgam fillings and erosive lichen planus, send other autoimmune conditions. A biopsy report suggested the Lichen Planus May be a lichenoid reaction to amalgam fillings

Are you considering removing them? Wow, no kidding! I realize autoimmune diseases don’t just go away, but how wonderful that be if you were to get them removed and feel some sort of relief of your symptoms.

I have Chronic EBV, and recently, my ANAs have been pointing to Lupus. I have read that Lupus and other autoimmune issues can arise with infections and am wondering if this is what’s causing my body to go awry.

Is it possible to type out these results? I'm on a mobile and can't read any of the words, or see what's going on with the tall bars.

Hi, the two high levels are (Left) Calcium: 269.0 previous test: 160.0 and the second is Magnesium: 23.0 previous test was was 20.0. My Functional Medicine doctor explained that calcium levels over 170 is called a Calcium where it is difficult for nutrients to get to the cells, I think thats how he worded it.
