I am seeing my psychiatrist tomorrow and was hoping to gain some knowledge about B12, as it’s the only avenue we haven’t been down. I have hypothyroidism and I am classed as psychotic apparently. I have severe panic attacks and am generally depressed. I take Levothyroxine, t3, Pregabalin, propanol, venlaflaxine and quetiapine. I have managed to get my vitamin d up to 150 and was wondering if I could be deficient in B12. Apparently it’s in range, as is my folate and ferritin. Could I ask for B12 injections based on my mental health alone and if so, how can I convince them?
B12 - 512ng range 200-900
Folate - 6.73ug range 2.70-18.60
Ferritin - 66ug range 10-320
